Spaghetti With Rich Beef  And Mushroom Sauce 
spaghetti with rich beef and mushroom sauce recipe

Ready to eat in : 30 minutes
Serves : 6


To prepare a perfect spaghetti recipe we need:
Ingredients :

1 tablespoon light olive oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
500 g [1 lb] lean beef mince
350 g |11 oz] button mushrooms, halved
1 tablespoon dried mixed herbs

½ teaspoon paprika
½  teaspoon cracked black pepper
825 g (1 lb 11 oz) can crushed tomatoes
½ cup (125 g/4 oz) tomato paste (tomato
purée, double concentrate)
 
½ cup (125 ml/4 fl oz) dry red wine i
½ cup [125 ml/4 fl oz] beef stock
500 g (1 lb] spaghetti
freshly grated Parmesan, for serving


Preparation :

1- Heat the oil in a large, deep pan. Add the
onion, garlic and beef and cook for
5 minutes, using a fork to break up any
lumps of mince. Add the mushrooms,
herbs, paprika and cracked pepper.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the
crushed tomato, tomato paste, red wine
and stock. Cover and simmer for
15 minutes.


2- While the sauce is cooking, cook the
spaghetti in a large pan of rapidly boiling 
salted water until al dente, Drain. Serve
the sauce spooned over the spaghetti and
top with freshly grated Parmesan.
