1- Preheat oven to moderate 180°C
[350°F/Gas 4]. Brush a 9-cup capacity
deep ovenproof dish with oil or melted
butter.

2- Sift flour and cocoa into a large bowl;
add sugar. make a well in the centre. Add
butter and combined milk and eggs.
Using a wooden spoon, stir until just
combined and smooth; do not over-beat.

3- To make Sauce: Place the milk, water
and chocolate in a small pan; stir over low
heat until melted and smooth. Pour
slowly over the pudding mixture. Bake for
45-50 minutes, until firm to the touch.
Serve with cream or ice cream and fresh
fruit, if desired.
